2021 Teach China Graduate Program Brochure

The Graduate Program works with a range of carefully selected partners, from small private language centres to large public schools, giving you the chance to choose from a diverse range of roles and institutions to match your skills and preferences.

Your job will be to deliver well-planned lessons, often with a focus on oral English. In a Private Language Centre, class sizes typically range between 1- 10 students, and 40-60 students in public schools. You will be helped along the way by a bilingual teaching assistant.

According to The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics' Information Security Analyst's Outlook, cybersecurity jobs are among the fastest-growing career areas nationally. The BLS predicts cybersecurity jobs will grow 31% through 2029, over seven times faster than the national average job growth of 4%. 

Burning Glass, a leading labor market analytics firm, has been tracking demand for cybersecurity skills based on its database of more than one billion current and historical job postings. Chinese children learn to code amid gov’t tech drive


He is among a growing number of children in China who are learning coding even before they enter primary school.

The trend has been fuelled by parents’ belief that coding skills will be essential for Chinese teenagers given the government’s technological drive.

“Coding’s not that easy but also not that difficult – at least not as difficult as you have imagined,” says Vita, who lives in Shanghai.
